The Vosges are known for its magnificent scenery. Many activities can be done like walking, cycling/ mountain biking, flying, climbing, and golf. Two nature reserves are situated in the Vosges: Parc des Ballons des Vosges and Parc des Vosges du Nord.

In the neighbourhood, one can find beautiful towns and villages that are worth visiting. The most popular places are Gerardmer, Colmar, Epinal, Xonrupt, La Bresse, Bussang, Sain-Maurice, Ventron en Le Valtin. Furthermore, the wine cultivation area of the Elzas can easily be visited. For kids, many amusement parks are nearby.

In the Vosges, there are also many health resorts. The famoust ones can be found in Vittel and Plombieres-les-Bains. Plombieres-les-Bains is an old town known for its hot springs that come to the surface.
