Tendon Waterfalls
A lovely walk in the peace and quiet
At the bottom of a valley not far from Gérardmer, the Tendon Waterfalls are tucked away amongst the trees. They are the highest waterfalls in the Vosges: after rushing through the dense forest, the torrents of the Scouet take a 35 metre dive from the top of Grande Cascade du Tendon. A kilometre further along, the Petite Cascade du Tendon is of course not as high but is equally worthy of exploration. The two are connected by a hiking trail that makes for a very pleasant ramble.
