Welcome to the VosgesDomaine des MessiresA natural campsite with a peaceful atmosphere

Camping Domaine des Messires is located at the end of a small road and surrounded by forest and meadows. The large private lake and the many trees and bushes on the campsite create a peaceful and natural atmosphere. In this lake you can enjoy swimming, canoeing and even fishing. For those who do not want to camp but like the liveliness of a campsite, we rent different types of mobile homes. They are all equipped with a bathroom with shower, a separate toilet, a kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator and microwave. Domaine des Messires also rents mobile homes for people with reduced mobility, with a ramp and wheelchair-friendly areas. From the terrace of the bar-restaurant overlooking the water of the lake, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a delicious meal while admiring the green landscape of the Vosges Mountains. The immediate surroundings lend themselves especially to activities in nature such as hiking and mountain biking. A little further away are climbing and scrambling parks, cozy towns, fortresses and numerous other attractions.

The 120 camping pitches of Domaine des Messires are located on wooded grounds by the lake, next to the stream or in the cozy center. The 5-hectare lake is the main attraction of Domaine des Messires. The water is of excellent quality as it is constantly fed by the springs. Anglers can freely practice their favorite no-kill sport on the shores of the lake. The campground also provides free canoes. There is also a cross-country track at the campground where you can enjoy cross-country racing with your own or rented mountain bike.

There are no bike paths in the area and on the roads through the valleys there are many cars. The beautiful little roads are often quite hilly. A bike with gears is therefore a requirement, with electric assistance is even nicer.
